Does my heart good to see our young people! Sometimes I look over and see our young people during worship or preaching and my heart responds deeply to them. To see young men and women that choose to serve God and have a dedicated life and dedicate themselves personally to HIM is rare in this time we live. While some walk out the back door (for what.... I have no idea. Been there, done it... didn't buy the t-shirt though)! We have DeLeuuw,Guy, James', Aydins, etc, walking in the front door; done with all that stuff they have left behind.
What a generation God is raising up!!! I am now confident us older generation have a younger generation to pass the torch to and that they will run the race harder, faster and more successfully than we even did.
They are under such a ministry as Mark King; who is a visionary!!! Plus submit themselves; it is a win win win situation. They are following him as he follows Christ.
Never in my life had I ever wished to go back in life; too many heartaches, scars, upsets. Being a young person in Truth Church though, makes me wish I was young with them. To run the race because it is so exciting and they are having so much fun serving God. (Again partly because of the ministry they are following) You young people make me so happy, proud, encouraged, boost my faith, make me to believe God is going to have a people and the gates of hell shall not prevail against His Church. Live hard for Him and it will be easy, live easy for Him and it will be hard!!!

Oh yes Tina, my heart is so full today. Seeing those young men on the front row worshipping, responding to the preaching.... did me good.
You can see it on them and in them; they are serious about this living in HIM...

Speaking as a young person myself, with the present situations in life anyone has the excuse that living for God is too hard, but you made a great statement, "Living for God easy is hard, but living for God hard is easy!" It makes it so incredible having a leader who is sold out to Godliness, committed to doing what is right even in the face of adversity! Mark is a one of a kind Youth Pastor, leading in fun and to a spiritual level beyond explainable. Truth Youth is blessed! Thank you Merrily for being such a great example and encourager, even in the small amount of time I have known you, you have uplifted me, I appreciate you and love you, and can NOT wait to see you! =)

I always love to see your name appear. I am so happy you enjoy your time here in Canada with us all and Truth Youth. Yes, they are very special and can I say again, they are a product of their leadership. Mark King is a one of a kind, and he is trail blazing our youth into a revival headed by youth this world has not seen yet.

Merrily, you are a part of this race with us! You are the one who cheers us on and keeps us going. We couldn't do this without the older generation. We are all in this together, one cannot work without the other.
My favorite thing is watching you during song service practice. You are always so into it, it's only the practice and it doesn't always sound good but that doesn't matter. What matters to you is the words, the meaning of the song and what the song means to you. I also love seeing you get out there dancing and praising God even though you work like 500 jobs and you never get sleep!!! HAHA! Your awesome! I love you and don't ever forget it! YOU ROCK!!
Oh yeah and Truth Youth TOTALLY ROCKS THE SOCKS OFF THE WORLD!!!!! And I do agree that Mark is pretty awesome and he is the best youth pastor on this planet!

I thought the very same thing Esther said while I was reading your post! Us young people would not be where we are if it wasn't for the older generation's faithfulness. It means so much to me to see you support us in everything we do, it 's like a BIG boost! It's like even though we mess up and stuff you still believe in us. *Phew* =)

It is not the I thank you for the compliments however, but rather, without the upliftment of saints like Marrily, our youth would not have leaders like Mark. It is the drive and determination of the church of the 70's/80's/90's that I have found my blessing in Christ. It is the prayers of the thoughtful and the visionaries of your day that paved the way. This is easy to take pride the "whats gonna be's," but God blessed us, Truth Youth, with a perfect anomally. So no pride is to be taken because without the services of our elders this foundation would be left un-shaken.

Sometimes as you are getting older; brain is shrinking, body is growing and you can feel if you dropped off planet earth... would anyones heart miss a beat!! I know the world will keep spinning, universe won't miss a beat, but to think there are young people still relying on us oldies to help hold this thing together is so very cool and precious to me. we are still needed greatly for many reason. The youth are the vitality, the growth, we are the roots and the stabilit they need.
We all work together. We need them and they need us and it is so cool to hear some of the youth express their appreciation for the older ones in their lives. As I said before they are a great bunch of kids and I love them.

Awww mer you are so awesome I love you so much! Reading your post just touches my heart, I agree with the girls you are a role model and we look up to you older generation you have taught us and mentored us. Now its up to us to be the example to are younger generation. There is nothing out there that can satisfy me but God! This is the life that I live for!!!

Truth Youth has an incredibly amazing leader in touch with the Man upstairs! Thank God for Mark whom is not afraid to do the Will of God. He's the best Youth Pastor! Thank God for Mark!! But we also have incredible Saints that are passing us a strongly lit torch, thanks to YOUR generation who kept the torch burning, who stayed in the race, and who encouraged us younger ones to continue on. We would've never made it without you guys!
