Very, very true. I tend to want to hurry up and get it done. I'm not even sure why? What is our big hurry? and yes, it's in the doing that you find the joy.
I went out this afternoon to rake my leaves and clean up a bit in preparation for winter and was thinkging, I wish this was done and then I remembered your post. I started to just enjoy the sounds and smells of fall and just being out in the fresh air and it made the project a whole lot more enjoyable. Thanks for the reminder
Oh my word Merrily you have no idea how this statement is true! God gave me this revelation this last Tuesday evening. In relation to the crossing of a street, so often we see the promise and blessing that awaits our arrival that we get in a hurry, missing the beauty in the journey, to cross that we fail to see the danger that awaits between our first step and our destiny. But if we hold the outstretched hand of Jesus and allow Him to guide us safely through we will not only arrive with an unbroken heart but will have had an experience and journey of a lifetime.
I found God, or should I say he found me in my 34th. year. What a collision that was!!! I did not know how potent God was!! (being a dead in sin Catholic) He filled me with his spirit December 18th, l984. An old druggy, wasted, used up, discard!!! Rebellious to authority, rules, anything structured. God has done a make over in me. The things I used to love; I now hate. The things I hated; I now love.

Aww I am happy those few lines I wrote just this morning, helped you with the task at hand Tina.
Seems we have been on the same page many times these few blogging months. Which I take as a confirmation from God sometimes..
Thank you for your kind words!
