TRUTH YOUTH!!!

Does my heart good to see our young people! Sometimes I look over and see our young people during worship or preaching and my heart responds deeply to them. To see young men and women that choose to serve God and have a dedicated life and dedicate themselves personally to HIM is rare in this time we live. While some walk out the back door (for what.... I have no idea. Been there, done it... didn't buy the t-shirt though)! We have DeLeuuw,Guy, James', Aydins, etc, walking in the front door; done with all that stuff they have left behind.
What a generation God is raising up!!! I am now confident us older generation have a younger generation to pass the torch to and that they will run the race harder, faster and more successfully than we even did.
They are under such a ministry as Mark King; who is a visionary!!! Plus submit themselves; it is a win win win situation. They are following him as he follows Christ.
Never in my life had I ever wished to go back in life; too many heartaches, scars, upsets. Being a young person in Truth Church though, makes me wish I was young with them. To run the race because it is so exciting and they are having so much fun serving God. (Again partly because of the ministry they are following) You young people make me so happy, proud, encouraged, boost my faith, make me to believe God is going to have a people and the gates of hell shall not prevail against His Church. Live hard for Him and it will be easy, live easy for Him and it will be hard!!!

WIND AND FIRE

I was trying to start a fire tonight in my fireplace with only a few matches.
Well, I got the fire going for a minute then it started to die out.
In desperation,I started blowing on the wood madly to start it burning again. To my amazement the fire started up again and that was what it took to start the fire and keep it going. Only three logs that gave great heat for over three hours.

I was sitting on the couch likening the "fire" to the fervency of the Holy Ghost. The wind I offered the fire I likened to the "spirit" of God the "Holy Ghost".

Luke 3:16 says
He shall baptise you with the Holy Ghost and with fire. (when you look up fire in the Strongs concordance it means "Lightening".
Acts 2: 3 says
And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

Seems fire is likened to lightening...... That is very electrifying, powerful, supercharged.

Then the bible says regarding "Wind"
John 3: 8
The wind bloweth where it listeth and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
Acts 2:2
And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting:

The culmination of that day of fire (lightening) and wind (spirit) was
Acts 2:4
And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the spirit gave them utterance.

I believe God allowed me through my little object lesson of blowing on a dying fire, to apply it to his Holy Ghost.

In summary...... If I want to keep the fervency, lightening, supercharge of the Holy Ghost in me,,,, keep the wind blowing on the fire to keep it flaming in my life.The wind is keeping Merrily in the most precious Holy Ghost his spirit continually.

HE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THE CLOTHES YOU WEAR!! (could I even say whether they are clean or dirty..... a sunday school child that is an orphan, homeless poverty striken childs wardrobe) (or a filthy rich brand namer).... OH, HOW I LOVE GODS ECONOMY!!....
ALL HE SEE'S WHEN HE SEE'S US IS THE SPIRIT WE ARE IN.... EITHER IN HIM, OR NOT IN HIM.
WHETHER WE ARE YOUNG, MIDDLE AGE, OLD, RICH, POOR, PRETTY, HOMELY,EDUCATED, ILITERATE,ALL THE BEAUTIFUL SKIN COLORS, OWN, RENT, LIVE UNDER A BRIDGE.....

FROGS

Once upon a time there was a bunch of tiny frogs.... Who arranged a running competition.

The goal was to reach the top of a very high tower.

A big crowd had gathered around the tower to see the race and cheer on the contestants....

The race began....

Honestly,no one in crowd really believed that the tiny frogs would reach the top of the tower.

You heard statements such as:

"Oh, WAY too difficult!!"

"They will NEVER make it to the top."

Or:

"Not a chance that they will succeed. The tower is too high!"




The tiny frogs began collapsing. One by one....

Except for those, who in a fresh tempo, were climbing higher and higher....

The crowd continued to yell, "It is too difficult!!! No one will make it!"

More tiny frogs got tired and gave up....

But ONE continued higher and higher and higher....

This one wouldn't give up!






At the end everyone else had given up climbing the tower. Except for the one tiny frog who, after a big effort, was the only one who reached the top!

THEN all of the other tiny frogs naturally wanted to know how this one frog managed to do it?




A contestant asked the tiny frog how he had found the strength to succeed and reach the goal?

It turned out....

That the winner was DEAF!!!!






The wisdom of this story is:

Never listen to other people's tendencies to be negative or pessimistic.... Because they take your most wonderful dreams and wishes away from you -- the ones you have in your heart!

Always think of the power words have.

Because everything you hear and read will affect your actions!

Therefore:

ALWAYS be....

POSITIVE!

And above all:

Be DEAF when people tell YOU that you cannot fulfill your dreams!

Always think:

I can do this!

WHAT BIRTHED THIS POST IS, WHILE I WAS READING MY BIBLE, THESE SCRIPTURES SCREAMED OUT AT ME. ALL I COULD THINK WAS " THAT SCRIPUTE SPEAKS OF PASTOR KING, AND OUR YOUTH PASTOR MARK KING."
IN MY 23 YEARS LIVING FOR GOD, I CANNOT RECALL ONE UTTERANCE FROM MY PASTOR LIFTING HIMSELF UP.

WHEN I THINK OF PASTOR KING, WORDS COME TO ME LIKE; HUMBLE, BROKEN, KIND, LOVING, FORGIVING, LONGSUFFERING, ANOINTED, MAN OF GOD, PROPHETIC, GENEROUS, INTELLIGENT, ELOQUENT, FUNNY, LOVER OF CHILDREN.

I COULD ADD SO MANY MORE QUALITIES IN MY PASTOR....I MAY AGAIN ANOTHER TIME.

I JUST WANT TO WRITE MY HEART TODAY! GOD BROUGHT PASTOR KING TO CALGARY, TO BE THE CALIBRE OF MAN OF GOD, THAT I NEEDED.
I WAS (hopefully still not) SO HEAD STRONG, DISILLUSIONED, IN YOUR FACE TYPE OF PERSON; GOD KNEW WHO TO PLACE IN CALGARY TO REACH ME. IF PASTOR KING WERE NOT THE CALIBRE OF MAN HE IS; I WOULD HAVE SNIFFED HIM OUT AND LIKELY WOULD HAVE BEEN GONE.

ALL I CAN SAY IS; HE IS PERFECT IN CHRIST. I WILL FOLLOW HIM AS HE FOLLOWS CHRIST.
YOU CAN AND MAY SAY; " he is just a man!". I WILL TELL YOU WHAT I SAY! I FIND NO FAULT. I MEAN NO FAULT!
PASTOR KING HAS MADE THE PATH SO CLEAR OF CLUTTER FOR ME TO FOLLOW, HIS TEACHING AND PREACHING BASED SOLEY ON THE WORD OF GOD; HAS MADE IT SO EASY FOR ME.

I LOVE THAT MY PASTOR WILL NOT BE BOUGHT. THAT IS BIG TO ME! THE MESSAGE HAS NEVER CHANGED, NOT ONE WORD!

IN CASE YOU DON'T KNOW,,,,,,,, I LOVE THIS LIFE SO VERY MUCH, I LOVE MY THREE CHILDREN TOO MUCH, I LOVE MY PASTOR AND HIS WIFE SO VERY MUCH. I LOVE THEIR THREE CHILDREN SO VERY MUCH.
I LOVE PREACHING, THE WORD OF GOD, SOULS, CHURCH, WORSHIP, ALTER WORK, YOUNG PEOPLE, ELDERLY PEOPLE.

I FOUND MY LIFE AND PURPOSE. BEFORE GOD I WAS MERELY EXISTING, LIVING WITH A GREY CLOUD OVER MY HEAD FOLLOWING ME EVERYWHERE I WENT.

TO HAVE BEEN FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST, BAPTISED IN JESUS NAME, EMBRACING HOLINESS, BEING SO BLESSED TO BE UNDER THE WONDERFUL LEADERSHIP OF PASTOR JOHHNY KING,,,,,,,,,, GOD IS TOO GOOD TO ME!

AGAIN, I WILL FOLLOW THIS GODLY MAN AS HE FOLLOWS CHRIST,,,, UNTIL I LAY MY HEAD DOWN AND I'M IN MY BOX...

THIS WOMAN IS A CHRISTIAN! HER CAPACITY TO; LOVE, ENCOURAGE, GIVE, LISTEN, COUNCEL, UNDERSTAND, LONGSUFFER, ENDURE, FORGIVE, BELIEVE, BEAR ALL THINGS, HOPE FOR GOOD, ASTOUNDS ME.

REST

Some verbal trivia;

- A good rest is half the work

- Stong work ethic? You can still justify taking a break. In fact, we NEED to take breaks - regularly and frequently. Why? We work more effectly when we don't work so much.

- Rest periods and vacations break our work routines. They help shift our thinking from its habitual, stuck patterns.They create the space for energy and creativiity to flow.

- They give us time for reflections, so we can step back and look at whats happening in our lives. We become more sensitive and aware.

- And finally we are stronger when we balance our work and play time.
All work and no play throws our life ourt of balance and endangers our health. Our bodies and minds need sufficient rest for recuperation. This is critically important with the level of stress in our lives these days.

- The time to relax is when you don't have time to relax.

Today I read that our Milky Way is expected to collide with another Milky Way named Andromeda. The expected date is approximately 3 billion years. What a collision that will be!!! If it could be photographed; it would literally blow our minds.

THE BALL WE EXIST ON:
By the way which can not be pin pointed when observed; because our solar system is so small compared to the vast milky way we are surrounded by; HOLD ON TO YOUR LIVER! which there are approximately 50 billion other galaxies nearby

Anyways, on this ball we exist on;
- there are imaginary lines that divide our ball
- dare you step over the imaginary line without passport, invitation or approval
- on this ball we exist on; we can actually hate, be jealous, greedy, selfish, hate the color of someones skin, or even hate
because of their faith, and perhaps even kill you for any of the above.
- I am believing that in spite of it all "WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD"

GOD SPOKE IT INTO EXISTANCE
- made it day and night
- divided the earth from the heavens
- gave us plants, herbs, seeds to be our food
- most of all, he gave us his spirit to make us live above all the things listed above.
